SCS Announcement

Dear friends,

 

I am happy to announce that on August 9, 2013 I founded Sarmiento Consulting Services, LLC (“SCS”).  It is a move that I had been contemplating for years and I finally took the plunge.   It has been a challenging but pleasant time putting together the firm with all the administrative and set up necessary to run a serious and professional organization.  I also transitioned out of GlassRatner Advisory and Capital Group, LLC who I am truly thankful for the last eight years of my career.  I wish them well and continual success.  During the last few months, I have already been involved in challenging matters related to a bank fraud investigation in Miami and quantification of damages in Latin America.

About Javier Sarmiento - a CPA with sixteen years of experience in Forensic Accounting and Litigation Support. Prior to founding his own firm he held positions in the Forensic and Litigation Accounting groups, at GlassRatner Advisory and Capital Group, LLC, a local CPA firm, a boutique investigative firm and prior to that at Matson, Driscoll & Damico, LLP, a national firm specializing in forensic accounting and insurance loss accounting. Javier has significant international experience and is fluent in Spanish.
